Westfield Real Estate & Community Information

The city of Westfield is located in Hamilton County and is home to over 36,000 residents.  It was named by CNN Money Magazine as one of the top places to live in 2013, ranking fifth in the Midwest and 18th in the nation.

Westfield’s origins date back to 1834 when the town was founded by North Carolina Quakers.  Westfield was then incorporated as a town in 1848, and then as a city recently in 2008. As this is a growing city, officials are planning to revitalize the downtown area, including a new library and city hall.

Downtown Westfield is home to a variety of antique and specialty stores. Also within driving distance there are shopping districts such as Carmel Arts & Design District, Historic Noblesville Square, Nickel Plate Arts, Indiana Glass Trail and Carmel City Center.

Westfield is also a great place to find unique places to eat.  Old Country Buffet offers healthy entrees along with soup and salads.  BBQ lovers will revel in Big Hoffa’s Barbeque, featuring pulled pork and a variety of BBQd and smoked meats.   Queso Blanco is located in downtown and is one of the best places in town for Mexican cuisine.  And if you don’t mind the drive, then Indianapolis has world-famous cuisine to satisfy any taste.
